eNode Secure Sandbox is an application built using eNode Object Realizer. You can use it to evaluate eNode UI Markup Language in a secure sandbox environment provided by Java Web Start. eNode Sandbox can be launched from a web browser, just like an applet. You can just as easily launch the browser from within eNode Sandbox. That is because, you don’t need a browser to run eNode Sandbox — They function as peers to each other. Under the Sandbox Security Model, eNode Sandbox has limited privileges like an applet. As such, it has significant restrictions on what it can do on your machine, and which hosts it can connect to over the Web. However, other applications built using eNode Object Realizer can request any kind of privileges possible under the full Java™ 2 Security Model, provided they are signed and accompanied by a digital certificate from an independent certificate authority. |
